Monica and Carmen might have never crossed paths if it hadn’t been for a mutual friend
who insisted they join her for brunch. Monica arrived early, as she always did, perfectly on
schedule and with her week’s calendar already planned down to the hour. Carmen, on the other
hand, came rushing in nearly twenty minutes late, apologizing with a laugh and carrying the kind
of scattered energy that followed her everywhere. Over some appetizers and a couple of
mimosas, these two somewhat different personalities quickly became best friends.
One late afternoon they agreed to meet for a late lunch to catch up on the week’s events. As
the conversation developed, Monica admitted she thrived on structure – her lists, schedules and
neatly organized home gave her a sense of control in an unpredictable world. Carmen chuckled
and confessed that she struggled with ADHD, often forgetting what others considered “small,
but important” tasks, but she then added that organization was not only helpful, but necessary.
Creating order was her lifeline, the thing that calmed her restless mind and prevented her stress
from spiraling. They realized something powerful: though their reasons were different, they both
shared a deep passion for organization. For Monica it meant control and for Carmen it meant
peace.
The thought struck them at the same time: “we can’t be the only ones.” There had to be
countless others – people craving calm and control – who could benefit from their unique
perspectives. That night, an idea was born.
Within months, the two women began helping neighbors and friends, combining Monica’s
precision with Carmen’s empathy, showing others how order could bring clarity, relief and
freedom. Their little idea grew into a full-fledged business dedicated to organizing both spaces
and minds.
And so, from one conversation, The Tidy Method was born – 2 women, 1 mission: Organize the
chaos. It is not just about neat shelves or tidy schedules, but about creating a life where calm
and control can finally meet.
